Risk analysis

IT risk analysis is a process that involves the identification of IT assets, their vulnerabilities and threats to which they are exposed, as well as their probability of occurrence and their impact, in order to determine the appropriate controls to accept, reduce, transfer or prevent the occurrence of the risk.

Risk analysis makes it possible to determine what the system is like, how much it is worth and how protected it is, and to implement safeguards (or countermeasures).
