These tools allow for the preparation and maintenance of customisations, which are dynamically incorporated into the library, extending it to suit a given context.

The tools can be customised in several ways:

• EVL - Protection Profiles Sector-specific or viewpoint-specific assessment/accreditation criteria. For example: national personal data protection laws.
• TSV - Threat Profiling: Establishing the typical vulnerability of assets to threats in different operating environments.
• KB - Additional protections: Detailing additional protections on certain types of assets. Instructions may be given to the asset manager.

Customisation tools are not intended for end-users, but for consultants and large organisations.
